Samsung presented the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in July 2026 at Galaxy Unpacked in London, featuring a completely new design. When closed, it is wide and compact, with a 5.5-inch cover screen. When unfolded, you get a 7.6-inch inner screen in 4:3, ideal for movies and games. Turn it a quarter turn, and you can read e-books and websites in 3:4. At 201 grams, it is the lightest Galaxy Z Fold to date.

A new form also means that older Fold cases do not fit. This case was designed from the ground up for the Fold 8.

What to look for in a Fold case

Does this case fit the Galaxy Z Fold 7?

No. The Fold 8 has a new, wider shape with different dimensions than the Fold 7. This case is only for the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

I have the higher-end model in the Fold 8 series, with a 200MP camera. Does this case fit?

No. That model has a different size and a larger camera. There is a separate collection for that on our site.

Can I fully unfold the Fold 8 with the case on?

Yes. The hinge remains free to move, so you can fully unfold the phone to reveal the flat 7.6-inch inner screen.

Can I charge wirelessly with the case on?
