Which AirPods 4 do you have?
Apple released the AirPods 4 in September 2024, in two versions. Both have the H2 chip, an open fit without silicone tips, and a remarkably small charging case with USB-C. The version with active noise cancellation also adds wireless charging and a speaker for Find My.
- AirPods 4: charge via USB-C, no noise cancellation.
- AirPods 4 with ANC: active noise cancellation, wireless charging, and a speaker in the case.
On the outside, the two cases are identical in shape. This case therefore fits both.
An AirPods 4 case you can feel
The AirPods 4 case is smooth and shiny. Beautiful when it's new, but scratches show quickly and it easily slips out of your fingers. Alcantara® changes that. The Italian microfiber you know from steering wheels and sports seats gives the case a soft, velvety texture with grip.
- Protection against scratches from keys, coins, and zippers in your bag.
- Grip, so you can pop the case open with one hand without it slipping away.
- Fit that fits snugly around the case, without losing its compact size.
- Appearance that remains understated: no print, no logo, just material.
Charging with your AirPods 4 case
The USB-C port at the bottom remains free, so you can simply charge the AirPods 4 with the cable. If you have the AirPods 4 with ANC, place the case with the cover on it on a wireless charger or an Apple Watch charger.
Why Alcantara and not silicone
Most AirPods 4 cases are made of silicone or hard plastic. Silicone attracts dust and lint and feels sticky after a while. Hard plastic protects, but doesn't feel any better than the case itself. Alcantara® is far above that. It is lightweight, durable, and stays soft, even after months in your pocket. It is a detail that no one sees from a distance, but that you notice every time you pick up your earbuds.
AirPods 4 case colors
Seven colors, chosen to match beautifully with your phone case or watch strap.
- Grey: Space Grey or Nardo Grey, calm and always fitting.
- Dark: Black Velvet, deep black with a velvety sheen.
- Warm: Chocolate Brown or Wine Red, classic and full of character.
- Deep: Ocean Blue or Midnight Green, a color with calm.
How to keep the case beautiful
- Remove the case from the case occasionally and brush it with a soft, dry brush.
- Dab a stain with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, without rubbing.
- Avoid alcohol and disinfectant wipes.
- Let the case dry completely before putting it back.

Frequently asked questions about the AirPods 4 case
Does this case fit the AirPods 4 with ANC?
Yes. The AirPods 4 and the AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation have the same case dimensions. The case fits both.
Does the case also fit the AirPods 5?
Yes. The AirPods 5 case has the same dimensions as the AirPods 4, so the same case fits. For the AirPods 5, we also have our own collection.
Does this case fit the AirPods Pro?
No. The AirPods Pro case has a different, wider shape. For that, choose an AirPods Pro case.
Can I charge wirelessly with the case on?
